Sunset Peach sunlight dimly glows  subtly behind the tree line. Gray clouds drift past the gradient sky. In the stillness of the water there’s a mirror reflecting the world above, a distorted image of the tall trees that bend and and dance in the breeze.

I Wish Flowers Never Died  As her leaves begin to wither His memories lose detail Her colors shift from vibrant to pastel While his hair fades from brown to gray. As her stem starts to wilt His spine does too His bones are now as delicate As her paper thin pedals. Her very last pedal drops He takes his very last breath Now two beautiful lives Are finally at rest.

Everyday I wake up and like many people,  I make my bed. Such a simple task, yet so essential to my daily routine. While it makes my room look clean, organized and neat, it truly forces me to set aside some time  before my busy day. Selfish I hear about big companies that own big factories, that hire young children,  and withhold promised salaries. Labour is brought out by force in these unsafe working conditions.
